The ability to be out in the open air and feel the freedom that brings is not always there. When I am stuck indoors and the weather is bad I like a tangible memory of better days.
On holiday, sitting on a hillside outside the Blue John mines waiting for my family. I did a sketch or two and took lots of photos.
Measures 96 x 60 x 4 cm (38 x 24 x 1.4 inches) Oil paints on stretched canvas. The design is carried over the side so no need to frame.
